Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell
Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell
Students are always the backbones of any academic institution. Prioritizing its pupils, the Diamond Harbour Women’s University has formed its Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell (SGRC) so that the students can inform and complain about their problems and hardships in a direct manner. The role of SGRC includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- The SGRC accepts complaints related to academic affairs and upon investigation, may take disciplinary actions.
- The SGRC seeks to quickly act upon complaints related to infrastructure and equipment of the University Estate.
- However, any complaint related to sexual harassment or the like is not under the aegis of the SGRC, and is instead taken care of by the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).
The student representatives of the SGRC take active parts in the functioning of the Cell, and the Cell has already acted upon their valuable inputs.
