Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
About the Committee
Diamond Harbour Women’s University the first and only Women’s University in Eastern India promises and ensures a safe and reliable platform of self-development for its girl students. In compliance with the Constitution of India it guarantees ‘equality of status and opportunity’ to all. As a part of this endeavour the University has set up an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in 2017, pursuance of UGC (Prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions) Regulations, 2015 read with Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee will serve a three year term period. A regular reshuffling of student representatives will be done keeping in mind the smooth and effective functioning of the committee.
